The Clothing Bank
All Saints’ Church Ackworth is a drop off point for this charity which accepts donations of good quality clothing, old or new. There is a box in the porch of All Saints’ where bags of clothes can be left. All clothes donated are collected daily, and taken to the Clothing Bank in Brotherton, where it is sorted and then packaged and given to those in need, who are referred to the Clothing Bank.

Pontefract Food Bank
St Cuthbert’s Church Ackworth and All Saints’ Church Ackworth have collection boxes, inside the church, where any donations to the food bank can be left. All donations are collected regularly and taken to the food bank in Pontefract.

The Children’s Society
We support The Children’s Society by holding Christingle Services each year. The money collected from these services is donated to The Children’s Society. See the Services page towards the end of the year for information about when and where these services are being held.
